Monika Fritzl is one of the children of Josef Fritzl and his daughter, Elisabeth Fritzl. Monika was born in the basement dungeon where Josef had imprisoned Elisabeth, and spent the first 18 years of her life in captivity.
After Elisabeth and her children were rescued in 2008, Monika was taken into care along with her siblings and her grandmother. Since then, she has largely stayed out of the public eye, and little is known about her current whereabouts or what she has been doing since her release from captivity.
It is worth noting that Monika’s birth in captivity was not the first time that Josef had fathered a child with his daughter. Elisabeth had given birth to several other children while in captivity, some of whom were also fathered by Josef.
